Spike really needs your help. Such a wonderful boy who is so very sad. We got a call from a man who was shook up, the voice said I am driving an elderly woman to the vet who is going to put her dog to sleep. She has to go into eldercare and her family supports this as they don’t want to take him in.... well we couldn’t let that happen. So Spike came to Holly's Garden.

​​​Spike is a wonderful boy, house trained, and great with other dogs & cats. He's an 11-year-young male Shih Tzu Yorkie mix. He just wants a home to live out his life with someone to love and care about him. Spike just had his teeth cleaned and blood work was good. He is hard of hearing but it’s not a problem as he is always watching you to see if your heart is watching him. Is there anyone out there who has a big enough heart to make Spike's last years his best?  If so, Spike's waiting for you!
